PROTECTIVE ASSOCIATION FORMED. [By Electric Cable —Copyright.] fAust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] SYDNEY, January 7. The Australian Performing Rights Association has been registered in Sydney. Its objects are to protect the rights of authors, composers, and publishers of music and songs. The membership comprises the principal music sellers throughout the Commonwealth and New Zealand, who hold the copyright, or are agents of the holders of yright music.
