NOTES OF THE DAY
Much progress has been made with the preparation of the ground for the Oroua Bowling Club's green. Assisted by a number of helpers the contractor has taken up a considerable quantity of earth and the ground is now almost ready to have the required foundation applied. It should not be long before the ground will be ready to receive the grass seed and the new Club should be In full swing by next season.
