MANAWATU v. BRITAIN. CENTRE TEAM CHOSEN FOR TO-DAY. The. British team arrives from Wanganui about noon, travelling by road. Members will be quartered at. th 0 Grand and Club hotels. At two o’clock the Manawatu bowlers will meet the Britishers at their headquarters and -take them for a flying visit to the various bowling greens. It is expected that the Palmerston North green will 1.-e reached in time to start the match about half-past two o’clock. After this brief trip the lady members of the party will be taken to Pending. wher<s they will be entertained at the bowling club by the president, Mr. Geo.. Bartholomew, and members of his Club.

A smoko concert will be held in the Empire? Hall, Palmerston North, at eight o’clock. All local bowlers are Invited to attend.
