KIMBOLTON DOMAIN BOARD

[From Our Own Correspondent.} A meeting of the above Board was held in the County Council Chambers on Monday evening last. There were present Messrs. J. A. Bailey (chairman), N. C. Jensm, C. A. L. Smith. W. Hair, G. Watt. A Lawson, W. L. Hesseltine (hon. secretary and treasurer). Before commencing the business the chairman welcomed Mr. G. Watt to the Board. The following correspondence was read a'nd dealt with:— From the Under-Secretary, Department of Lands and Survey, with reference to the transfer of reserve No. 92b. Block XIII -Apiti S.D. from Mr. D. W. Twigg to Mr. O. Bussell. —Received. From the hon. secretary, Croquet Club, requesting a reduction in the rent of the croquet greens.—Rent to be reduced to £4 for the current year. A long discussion ensued on the swimming baths proposals, and it was finally decided that the secretary be instructed to have the bath emptied and that the opinion of an expert be obtained as to the probable supply of water before any of the money raised is. expended.. — K was resolved (a) that the members of the Board he appointed a reserve committee, the secretary to arrange a day for the committee to visit the reserves (b> that Mr. Jensen be heartily thanked for his gift of trees and for planting same on the reserve In Flyger street. Accounts amounting to £ll . 6/5 w.ere passed for payment. At the' conclusion" of the meeting! the chairman wished the member* j the compliments of the season.
