The placed division and Blue Thorpe were in front all the way and in the final stages. Frisco Bean won easily by two lengths, 12 lengths between second and third. Blue Thorpe was fourth. Edith Locanda made most of the running and in the run homo was beaten by a neck by Guy Fawkes, with Rollicking Bells six lengths away, followed by Bruce. Time, 3.48 4-5. Great Bingen and Logan Chief were on a break and the hot favourite’s chance appeared very remote. Great Bingen, however, went a magnificent race and got up to win by three-quarters of a length, scoring a, victory that was enthusiastically acclaimed. Realm was six lengths away, third. The time was 2.7 3-5, beating Emmllino’s track record by a second. CAVER SHAM HANDICAP, 2 Miles. 3 Some Wilkes (McLennan) .. Some Wilkes won by two lengths from Native Chief, who made up a lot of ground after a bad start. Becky Logan was three lengths away, followed by Ratana. Time, 4.43. Main Voyage made the cany running from Harry Audubon and Queen’s Own. Entering on the last lap, Delavan Quest was in charge and maintaining the advantage won easily by four lengths from Queen’s Own, Who beat Black Admiral by a neck, with Dolly Dillon fourth. Money Spider took charge going down the back the last time and won by two lengths from Le Todd who beat Bonny Spec by five lengths, with Woodlass next. Time, 4.39 2-5. ST.
