OTAGO FAVOURS WALLACEVILLB [Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN Last Night. • The question of the establishment of an Agricultural College was discussed at a meeting of the Farmers’ Union here to-day, when the meet ing was addressed by Messrs Marshall and Begg, members of the Board of Agriculture. They stated that the difficulty of establishing a college was complicated by the fact that certain districts received endowments and these wanted the College established In connection with their Chair of Agriculture. These gentlemen favoured in the meantime the proposal that Wallacevillo should receive a grant to strengthen it, in order that research work vital to agriculturalists could be carried out. The following resolution was passed: ‘‘That this meeting heartily supports the Agricultural department In its proposal to extend research work in the laboratories at Wallaceville."
