WEDDING BELLS
PACE Y—LAUR EN SON. A pretty and quiet wedding was solemnised at St. , Paul’s Methodist Church yesterday, when Miss Elizabeth (Beth), third daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. L. Laurenson, was married to Thomas, third son of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Pacey, of Palmerston North, the Rev. M. A. Rugby Pratt officiating. Tho bride, who was led into the church by her brother, Mr. L. Laurenson, of College Street, was simply taut, charmingly attired in white georgette of French model, heavilv beaded in silver and carried a beautiful bouquet or orange blossom She was attended by two bridesmaids. Miss Gcorgie Laurenson, sister of the bride, and Miss Jean Pacey, sister of the bridegroom, both in floral frocks of georgette over green silk slips and carrying - coloured posies. Mr.-Keith Hodder -was best man and Mr. Don George groomsman.
At the conclusion of tho ceremony, the guests assembled at the residence of the bride’s mother and there the usual toasts wre honoured.
The bride left for tho South Island attired in a black and white marocain frock, trimmed with Oriental embroidery, with hat to maten.
