FINALISTS BEGIN. [Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN Last Night. In the first session of the final of 2000 up in the amateur billiard* championship between Mason (Dunedin) and Hackett (Auckland), at the close of play, the Dunedin man had scored 666 to Hackett’s 542. The beat breaks were: —Mason 46, 34, 33, 31; Hackett 76. 33, 25, 25.
