POPE MAY LEAVE VATICAN
PILGRIMAGE TO TOMB OF ST. FRANCIS.

pondent states the Pope has decided to end his voluntary imprisonment in the Vatican in November, 1926, when his Holiness will make a pilgrimage to the tomb of St. Francis of Assisi in connection with the 700th. anniversary of St. Francis’s death. Other Rome correspondents confirm the news that the Pope is considering the possibility of ending his voluntary imprisonment and Coming to agreement with the Italian Government, but they say a decision has not yet been reached.
