The sale at Mr. Park’s residence, 143 College Street advertised by Mounsey and Co, Auctioneers, for Wednesday next should attract a large number of buyers. The piano by Collard and Collard (who are amongst England’s foremost manufacturers) is a very fine toned instrument in beautiful walnut. The glass cases of stuffed birds are very valuable. The two varieties of Birds of Paradise (from New Guinea) are not? unprocurable, as the law prohibits their being killed. The collection also includes the now extinct aWd rare kaka-kura, or red kaka of New Zealand, the Regent Bird of Australia, the kiwi, and a large number of others. Two large and handsome sideboards, oil paintings, and other pictures by good artists. A fine extension table in Canadian walnut, some fine carpets and linos, handsome ornaments, valuable bedroom furniture Including a large and handsome chest of drawers In totara knot, which is now practically unprocurable. Venetian blinds in many sizes.
