“ARE YOU A MASON?” OPERA HOUSE TO-NIGHT. To-night (Saturday) at the Opera House, the famous J. C. Williamson comedy success “Are You a Mason”, will be presented by Mr D. B. O'Connor and his new musical comedy company. In thi;3 world-wide success a young husband accounts to his wife for his late hours by saying that he has joined a Masonic Lodge and Is kept late at meetings. To give proof to his statements he says: ‘‘Look here dear; look at my legs, I’v,e gone quite bandy riding the blessed goat.” Complications set in when his father-in-law arrives on the scene. Pa-ln-law is reputed to be the Grand Master of a Masonic Lodge and when the two relatives meet, ■ the fun starts in real earnest. Screamingly funny situations follow one another in quick succession until the climax, when each simultaneously discovers that the other is not a Mason at all. Many catchy songs are introduced and the production is lavishly staged. Mr D. B. O’Connor plays the principal role and he has a picked company of metropolitan artists supporting him, notably Doris George, Viola Rene, Dorrie Arnold, May Lockwood, Eric Conway, Jack MacKenzie, and Arthur Lord. The orchestra to-night will be augmented by the players recently terming the local Palace Theatre orchestra. Seats may be reserved at Oates’ Music Salon. Sunday School Annlversalry? The Gist, school anniversary fertiv al wl'l take place at St. Paul’s Methodist Church tomorrow when special services will be conducted- by the Revs. Harold T. Peat. C. W. Duncumb and M. A. Rugby Pratt. The children will render festival music at all services. The tea meeting and prize-giving take place next Wednesday. PALACE THEATRE. "SALLY" The pictured version of "Sally” is all that was claimed for It and then some. There is not a dull moment in the course of the screening, and the hilarity runs to a high note over the doings of Colleen Moore and Leon Errol. Nowhere is there to be found a picture with greater appeal than this: Colleen Moore will show you just how things shuld be run in an up-to-the minute dish-washing establishment. She is just as good an exponent of the art of swanking it at a grand reception and in both situations she extracts all there is in the way of fun and frolic for the delectation of the folks who love her on the screen. Here is certainly a picture of special merit, well supported by a fine variety of etceteras. KOSY. The Reginald Denny comedy “I’h Show You the Town” richly deserves the generous patronage accorded, it the last two nights. This is one of the best comedy dramas ever shown at the Kosy and besides being irre sistibly funny it has quite a good cohesive story—thus making easy to follow while holding the interest. The supports are quite good.
