NOTES OF THE DAY
Flags were flown at half-mast in Feilding yesterday on the occasion of the funeral of the late Queen Alexandra. ' Wintry conditions were experienced in the northern districts on Thursday night and yesterday and hail and snow were experienced in the Huntervxlle and Table Flat territory. The air in Feilding had a wintry bite yesterday and during the afternoon spots' of rain fell. ‘
