4/- A BUSHEL OFFER TO GOVERNMENT. A Hastings merchant Informed a reporter that he had learned from a reliable source that the Canadian Government had offered to supply Now Zealand with its requirement of wheat over a period of three or four years ,as the New Zealand Government might decide, at 4/- per bushel. The proposal, it is stated, is being considered by Cabinet.
