Cotton, who has done most of his riding in the South Island, had several mounts at Levin. It is understood that he is going to follow his calling in the North Island, and will ride Mr. F. S. Easton’s horses when the weights permit. Fool’s Paradise is very well at present, and on the form he shower at Rlccarton he should be worth following later on this season. It Is reported, says "Argus,” of the Christchurch "Star,” that, the Derby winner Runnymede has been sold, and that his destination is outside New Zealand.
