DOOR FALLS ON RAILWAYMAN

A peculiar accident hapoened at Bonny Glen yesterday to a railway carpenter named Charles Boss. Mr. Boss was working near the goods shed at that station, when a rake of trucks was being shunted into the shed. The door, however, was not opened sufficiently wide to give clearance and being caught by the leading truck, was pulled down on top of him. Tile injured man was taken to Marton and attended by Dr. Harper, later being brought to the Palmer. Eton North Hospital, where it was found that he was suffering from cuts and abrasions and an injured hip. Boss is a marries man with two chil. dren and resides in Palmerston North. Leg Amputated.
