FEILDING FREEZING WORKS
Although nothing has been deflnitely fixed, the Feildlng Farmers freezing works probably not open until December 10. Variations in the weather have had an unsettling effect upon the lambs and this in turn is influencing the position with regard to the opening of the season. There is a chance that killing operations may start on December 3, but present indications point to the date being a week later. Nothing is known at present as to the prices which will be offering for lamb, although there is no promise of prices being offered like those of twelve months ago. It appears that it will be somewhere between 9d and lOd and certainly not greater.
