ANNUAL meeting. The Sixteenth annual meeting of tho St John’s Ambulance District Nurs. ing Guild was held in the Council Chambers yesterday, when Mr. J. A. Nash. M.P., occupied the chair. Thos e present were Mosdamcs Spooner, Morgan, Colo, Gill, Aitchlson (hon. sec.), Misses Cunuiugluuno and Nairn. Votes of thanks wore passed to Mrs. Altchlson Miss Cunnlnghame and Mr. Nash. 'Monthly Meeting. The monthly meeting of the Guild was held prior to the annual meet. Ing. Tho Nurse’s report for October showed that sho had made 111 visits to patients, one of whom had been sent to hospital. Two deaths had been recorded, while there were still eleven patients that required attention. A donation of £1 bad been received from Mrs. Cooper. So far this month tho nurse had visited S 8 patients, two of whom had been sent to tho hospital. Two deaths had occurred and eight patients had boon discharged from the hospital. Mr. Tait donated £l, the weighing machine had realised £1 0/10 and box at tho library, 7/2Jd. Clothes had been received from Mesdames P. H. Cooke, Millar 'and an anonymous donor (Mungaweka).— Adopted. Accounts amounting to £3 5/. were passed for payment.
