PARIS TO NEW ZEALAND
WORLD EXHIBITION BOOKINGS, Visitors from Paris and other foreign cities, who arc coming to see the New Zealand and South Seas International Exhibition in the summer, have booked rooms through the Accommodation Bureau in the Octagon, Dunedin. There have also been many bookings from England, Scotland Sydney and Melbourne. The Accommodation Bureau has now accommodation for ‘1, 500 at one time, exclusive of the number which the hotels and boarding houses can accommodate, and between them they will bo able to cater for at least as many more, and these figures are being daily increased. A feature of the Bureau’s work has been the readiness which it has found on the part of householders offering accommodation to throw open their best front rooms. All the accommodation which the Bureau offers has been inspected and approved by it, and the charges are most reasonable. Bed and breakfast are obtainable from 6/G, and full board from 10/-. If any visitor has difficulty in securing accommodation, he will only have himself to blame. All that is necessary is to send an application to the Bureau with name and address and stating the period of the intended visit along with a deposit of £1 to the Accommodation Bureau, Octagon, Dunedin, but in this matter, as always, it is a cause of first come first served.
