A FEW QUESTIONS.
MR NASH HAS THE FLOOR. [From Our Own Correspondent.] WELLINGTON, Last Night Anxiety to hear from the Minister of Agriculture as to whether he is going to allow absolute control to be put into operation respecting the Dairy Control Board, was expressed by Mr Nash, in the House to-night. The Minister: “You can hear from rnc now. It is a question for the Board.” V “We want single ward representation,, said Mr Nash, “We don’t want it as it is at the present time, playing into the hands of certain people.” On the subject of loans to local bodies. Mr Nash said that here was an v excellent opportunity for the new Minister of Finance to do something to help local bodies to raise money to carry on their work. If money was not provided, the roads throughout the country would go back. A word on fusion fell from -Palmerston’s representative. He said the last thing Labour wanted to see was a fusion of the two main parties, because it would result in a test of Labour members, some of whom wero minority representatives, at the next election.
