RUGBY FOOTBALL.

MANAWATU SENIOR COMPETITION. SECOND ROUND CONCLUDES TO-MORROW. The Kia Tea v. Woodville (at Wood, villc) and Fe tiding v. Western United (at Palmerston North) games to-mor. row conclude the second round of the Manawatu senior championship. As Old Boys are a point ahead and have the bye Kia Toa require to win to wind up the round in front. The game will, however, be very keenly contested and Kia Toa supporters can hardly be so confident of victory after the close result in the Western United match last Saturday. The Fcildingites have not boon doing so well of late and have not won a game since last meeting Westerns. To-morrow’s flut. tor with the red-and-blacks will therefore produce a real good struggle for supremacy in view of Western’s improved form. The second round Of the junior championship commences to-morrow, the Feilding v. P.N.B.H.S. game at Feilding promising to be one of the greatest matches of the year. Old Boys meet Kia Toa at Palmerston North and this also must be an in. tercsting game. REFEREES FOR SATURDAY. Seniors. —Western-United v. Fending. Referee: Mr. W. McSwceny, Woodville v. Kia Toa.
