PRINCE IN MASHONALAND
[By Electric Cable—Copyright.! [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.! (Received Thursday, 7.35 p.m.) CAPETOWN, July 8. The Prince of Wales attended a monster native indaba at Salisbury. Over ten thousand, including eight hundred chiefs and headmen from all parts of Mashonaland were present. The Prince was presented on behalf of the chiefs and people with a magnificent pair of elephant tusks, .-joined together by a broad band of Rhodesian gold and platinum.
