FACTORY EFFLUENT.
DAMAGES AGAINST BUTTER COMPANY. [Per Press Association.] WESTPORT, Last Night. In the Supreme Court in the Karamea case, in which an injunction was sought to restrain the Karamea butter factory company from discharging the effluent of the factory on to the land of J. W. Horrocks, farmer, and damages £2OO claimed. Mr. Justice Alpers made an order for the injunction and judgment for £52 damages and costs on the middle scale.
