THE LUCKY ONES. [Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH. Last Night. The Art Union promoted by the Canterbury Cricket and Tennis Associations, was drawn to-night, the first six- prizes being won as follow. £IOOO, F. Sandford, Christchurch; £SOO, J. Aitchison, Hamilton; £2OO, P., Maugher, Christchurch: £IOO, M. E. Hendry, Taupe; £IOO, C. H. Cooper,- Annat; £IOO, Jameson, Auckland There were ISO other prizes, ranging from £SO to £5. The Art Union netted about £9OOO to each Association. The tennis body will devote its share to equipping Wilding Park and the cricket body to providing coaches.
