WOMAN’S WORLD.

A motion of condolence with, the relatives of the late Miss Olive Miles, of Palmerston North, was carried at last night’s meeting of the Palmerston North Choral Society, of which Miss Miles was an active member. A vote of sympathy was passed at the District Nursing Guild yesterday to Mrs Gill, Palmerston North, in her prolonged illness and it was hoped that she would make a speedy recovery and once more take her place on the committee. The annual report of the vestry of St. Peter’s Anglican Church expressed sympathy with Mrs Abbot in her severe illness, and it is hoped that she will make a speedy recovery. Miss Gerturde Ederlo. one of America's greatest swimmers, has decided to attempt to swim the Dover straits.
