Y.M.C.A. SOCIAL.
At the Y.M.C.A. last evening, thS second of the current season’s socials promoted by the Association’s social committee was a most pronounced sucecss. The Tui Entertainers had kindly consented to provide the programme and from the moment that Mr Hedberg, their loader took over there was not a dull moment throughout the whole evening. The party proved to be generous in the extrema and played numerous selections, while individual members sang or played on guitar, banjo, and xylophone. Under Mr Hedberg’s able leadership tho audience was persuaded to sing several choruses with the greatest gusto and abandon. At the conclusion of a wholly successful evening, rounds of loud ap* plause followed the formal expression of thanks to the performers.
