GRAVE ANXIETY.
PRIME MINISTER’S CONDITION,
The following official bulletin was issued yesterday: The Prime Minister’s condition continues to give cause for grave anxiety.
“NEW ZEALAND FIRST.” [Per Press Association.] INVERCARGILL, Last Night. In replying to expressions of sympathy, the Hon J. G Coates stated this afternoon that Mr. Massey’s condition was far from satisfactory and that the Prime Minister was much weaker. The Premier had a broad mind and a big heart and put Now Zealand first all the lime. He appreciated their references to Mr. 'Massey as "a true Britisher and a great Imperialist” and would convey to Mrs. Massey their expressions of sympathy.
