FLOCK HOUSE BOYS
PARTY DUE ON JANUARY 4. The third party numbering 28 for Flock House is due to arrive from England on January 4. Of those who have received training in farming pursuits at the Flock House estate, the whole 25 available have been sent to farmers in various parts of the Dominion, in order to continue the career so conspicuously begun. There remain 28 boys at the estate, but none of these is yet sufficiently advanced to be sent out. Many applications have been made for them, all being from a good class of farmer. Only two of those sent out have been despatched to the South Island, the others being distributed over almost every portion of the North Island.
