THE DIXON CUP. A dispute has arisen in respect to the rules governing the play for the Dixon Cup. Tlie Feildlng Bowling Club sent a protest to a meeting of the Manawatu Bowling Centre Held on Tuesday afternoon, objecting to the manner in which the draws for play were made. As there were only four delegates present, any decision on the matter was deferred till a meeting to bo hold in the near future. The challenge of this club lias therefore boon bold up. This discussion will involve tho whole question of play for trade trophies, tho Dominion rules being averse to this.
