Jack Wright and Willard Crocker (Montreal) defeated S. Villalia and H. Banet (Cubans) for the Davis Gup doubles, 7—5, 7—5, 6 —2. NEW YORK MATCHES. (Received Sunday, 7 p.m.) NEW YORK, July 25. Kinsey Brothers defeated Schlesinger and Kalms, 6—3, 6 —l. Patterson and Wood defeated Baggs and Brothers, 6 —2, 6—l. ANDERSON HELPS SYDNEY OUT (Received Sunday, 7 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 27. Metropolis defeated the Stanford University tennis team by four rubbers to two. The victory was largely due to Anderson, who dominated the Singles and doubles.
