Dalgety and Company Ltd., Palmerston North, report having a fair yarding of sheep at their Hunterville sale on Tusday, the Ist instant. The yarding comprised mostly lambs, which sold as below: —Romney ewe lambs, 19/6; medium, b.f lambs, 14/-; small mixed lambs, 7/7 to 11/6; cull lambs, 5/10.

STOCK MARKET. Levin & Co., Ltd., report on stock sales for week ending March 29th. 1924. At Bulls on Monday a fair, yarding of both sheep and cattle met with good competition! at late rates. LONDON MARKETS. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from their London office, under date, 28th March Butter. —More-doing, 152/-. to 156/per cwt. Cheese. —More doing, 84/- per cwt. Frozen Meat. —There is little demand for mutton and the market is dull. Ewes show a downward tendency. It is thought lamb prices have ■ reached their lowest point. There arc no quotations for beef. johNsonville sale. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd. and Wright Stephenson and Company Ltd., report on their Johusonville sale, hold yesterday. A full yarding of sheep and lambs and a good yarding of bullocks and vealers came forward. Quality through ou t was only medium, with the exception of odd pens. The lambs yarded were a poor lot.
