Dr. Spahlinger, the discoverer of a new treatment for tuberculosis, has written to Sir James Allen asking for particulars of the proposed scheme under which the Imperial and New Zealand Governments are combining to finance him for a period of years. The Ministry of Health is at present considering the reply.
