Musical items and outdoor games were indulged in on the lawn which was well lit up for the occasion. Miss Fergusson was the recipient of many useful presents. Friends of Mrs Russell, Kahariki, will be pleased to know of her recovery from a recent severe illness. Her daughter, Mrs R. Managh, has been managing the business during her enforced absence. Mrs R. Managh’s little daughter has also been unfortunate, having a fall, and sustaining compound fracture of the arm, necessitating her removal to the hospital. Mrs Dudding and her daughter, Mrs G. Burgess, have returned from a holiday spent at Otaki.
