WORLD FLIGHT HELD UP
DAMAGE TO GEARS. [By Electric Cable—Copyright] [Aust. and N.Z. Cable Association.] - (Received Wednesday 7 5 p.m.) LONDON, April 1. In responce to MacLaren’s cable Messrs Napier and Son despatched a special messenger with spare parts. The messenger flew to Paris to-day, whence he is proceeding to Brindisi and Corfu_ It seems that the gears ■between the engine and propeller somehow became damaged, but the cause is a mystery.
