NAPIER RESOLUTIONS. [Per Press Association.] NAPIER, Last Night, A meeting of the Napier branch of the Post and Telegraph Officers Association was held to-night which was also attended by representatives ot other departments of the Public Service by invitation, when an address was given by Mr Combs, Secretary of the Association for New Zealand. It was resolved that this branch join with all other sections of their service In the demand for an adequate adjustment of salaries and wages which will (1) increase the present shameful basic wage £3 13/4 now being paid in the Service; (22, restore to all branches of the Service the standard of comfort obtainable in 1914. The meeting also carried a motion supporting the railwaymen in op-’ posing the 4S-hour week and in their effort to £ain a proper standard of living.
