RAMMED FROM THE REAR
CLASH ON KANGITDvEI LINE. A collision occurred last evening on Rangitikei Line which resulted in serious damage to one car. From what could be gathered of the affair, it appears that one car was stationary on the correct side of the road, when another one charged from the rear. The stationary car was driven forward several feet and had the rear spring badly damaged, while the charger was rendered hors de combat with a broken wheel and bent front axle. Quite a number of motorists pulled, up to view the scene, and assisted in getting the badly damaged car off the road.
