NEW ARRIVALS BY PERSIC. [By Electric Cable—Copyright.] [Aust. »nd N.Z Cable Association.] (Received Tuesday, 2 a.m.) MELBOURNE,' March 31. Aboard the steamer Persic which arrived to-day, were over three hundred South African animals for the Auckland Zoo, the largest consignment of the sort ever sent to Melbourne. The animals include zebras, bush pigs, apes, chimpanzees, bahooiis, spider monkeys and pole-cats.
