LONGBURN.
RADIUM APPEAL DANCE. A very successful dance in aid of the F adium Fund was held in the Long-burn Hall on Friday last. There was a comfortable crowd present, and with the aid of Larkin’s orchestra a very enjoyable time was spent. As a result of the function, the secretary, Mr G. Nxcol. was able to hand ower several pounds to the Mayor. It is the intention of the committee to - hold another such function on March 14.
