GAOL FOR ASSAULT.
Before Messrs 'E. Goodbehere and J. W. Bramwell,: J.’sP., at the. Magistrate’s Court, yesterday, Claude Marmont was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment for assaulting W. J. Cornfoot, at Parorangi, on Saturday.
