PRIMARY SCHOOLS' CRICKET
The first round of the schools* competition opened at the Sportsgrouhd yesterday. Terrace End 33, defeated College-street, 20. McGonigal captured six wickets, and Cutler lour, for College-street. For Terrace End, Blair took five, Tremewan three and Saunders two. Lovelock (T.E.) nine and Oliver (College-street) nin« were top scorers. Convent 9S, defeated West End CO. Schlierikc scored 37 for West End. Greer, Stone and Sheerin scored well for Convent. Sheerin six wickets, Bramwell and Kemngan two each, wer e Convent's bowlers.
