GREAT CONTEST NEXT WEEK,
One Of the' star features of St. Patrick's bazaar next week will be the great tug-of-war contest, in which It
teams are competing for supremacy,
The bouts will commence on Monday , evening in the Zealandla Hall, when two big fights are to be Staged'. On Tuesday evening, there will be three more contests, and the others Will come on for' tho succeeding nights. Besides the heavy weight pulls, corn* petitions have been arranged for primary school boys and' an intermediate Class for lads under 17, and not more than 9st.' 71b. This popular sport is under the control-of the Celtic Club,
Which has all its organisation perfect and patrons can be sure of seeing a good night's sport. Mr. S. W. R. Evans has kindly offered to act as referee.
