BOOTLEGGERS SWINDLE.

FLAGRANT TRICKERY,

LONDON, Sept. 17. There is flagrant trickery in the bootlegging business between the. dealer and the seller, and between the distributor and the retailer, each playing false with the other—adulterating, swindling, robbing, and pirating < English exporters recently sent out a spy with the view of stopping adulteration. They heard no more of him. He was murdered or caused to disappear, or else he joined in the swindle himself. The bootleggers have become so annoyed at the constant adulteration that they have takeii most rigorous precautions.
