Present indication are or easterly winds, strong to gale northward of Kawhia and East Cape, with freshening easterlies to northerlies elsewhere, with unsettlod conditions. Rain may be expected soon in the northern dis. tricts, with increasing haze and cloudiness for a change generally after about 24 hours. The barometer is falling everywhere.
