SALE OF WORK.
SALVATION ARMY'S FUNCTION
The Salvation Array’s sale of work in aid of the Army Corps’ funds, was continued at the Drill HaW yesterday afternoon and evening, and was very well patronised. The stall attendants were kept particularly busy during the afternoon and articles met with a ready sale. Last evening a of Girl Guides, under Adjutant McKenzie,, of Palmerston North, provided an excellent entertainment. The sale will open again this afternoon and this evening. The entertainment for the evening’s programme will be provided by the Salvation Army Band, under Bandmaster Harford, and tho Young People’s Singing Company, and there is every promise of an excellent concert.
