CHEMISTS’ CLOSING HOURS
[Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Last Night. A deputation of chemists from various parts of the Dominion waited oa the Minister of Justice to-day with reference to the hours of closing on Sundays. The deputation stressed the fact that at present fhey had too much ■liberty and asked the Minister to amend the Police Offences Act to provide powers for chemists to fix their own hours on Sundays. In reply, the Minister said that ha could not amend the Police Offences Act in that direction, but agreed to assist the deputation if they approached the Minister of Labour.
