HOCKEY.
The Dannevirke Hockey Tournament was held on Wednesday last, and among’ competing teams was Feilding Hinckoa who were rather more successful than they anticipated. The lirst game they played against Wesley (Wellington) and were victorious by 1 to 0. The second game was played against the M.l.A.’s and was very even, and also very exciting. There was no score until the last three extra minutes when a “behind” counts a goal. M.l.A.’s, were the sucessful ones in this game. Although Feilding girls did not get the Cup they are to be congratulated in the way they played.
