JOHNSONVILLE SALE
Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on Johnsonville sale held yesterday;—A small yarding of good quality sheep came forward and met with a keen demand at prices in excess of last week: Ox beef sold freely being slightly cheaper than previous sales. Vealers were eagerly sought after. We quote;- Best' wethers 33/7, lighter 31/4; ewes good 27/4, extra heavy ewes 30/- to £2 17/-; lambs, 24/10 to 26/3; best ox £9, £9 2/6, £9 10/; good, £8 5/, £8 7/6, £8 10/, to £8 15/; maiden heifers £4 2/6, £4 15/ to £5 5/; cows £5, best vealers £2 IS/, £3; £3 1/ to £3 5/, light 36/6.
