THE LYCEUM.
The second of the three big features screening at the Lyceum this week will be presented to-night and to-mor-row with a special matinee to-morrow at 2.30. Three generations fight the traditions and wishes of their elders, only to find the positions reversed when they have, children of their own wishing to marry, and so eternally runs the struggle between the young and the old. This is the theme of "Milestones," the new Goldwyn production of the famous play. It is a story of infinite tenderness and appeal, and is beautifully produced. John Rhead, himself a rebel against convention in his youth, t rules his household with a rod of iron, for fifty years, until brought against the complete rebellion of the young folks of modern times. The infinite mischief wrought by the tryanny of age is shown with power and skill. The supports include another of those famous Larry Semen comedies, "The Show," t!re latest News Budgets, and at the evening session the 'delightful Symphony Quartette.
