ELECTIONEERING IN THE SOUTH.
(Per Press Association.) TIMARU, Last Night. The election campaign was opened in Temuka to-night when a largelyattended meeting was addressed by Messrs Veitch (Wanganui) and Forbes (Hurunui in the interests of the Lib-eral-Labour Party. Air T. H. Langford, a young returned soldier, who has been officially adopted as the party’s candidate addressed the meeting very shortly, pledging himself to the party’s platform.
