BREAKING THE STRIKE.

TTMARU FREEZING WORKS. (Per Press Association.) TIMARU, July 2. Arrangements have been made for the resumption of work at the Pareora and Smithfleld freezing works on Monday after about a fortnight's hold-up by the butchers' strike. Free labour will be employed, mostly farmers and their sons who are offering in plenty. It is estimated that there are sufficient sheep for about three weeks' work. Some farmers declare that If there is any trouble consequent on their killing they are prepared> to load the ships also. Killing will be on the team system.
