LONDON, April 1.0. Mr Winston Churchill, replying to a question ill the Bouse of Commons, said the Government's pledge not to i.cognise the Irish republic still held good. If the situation changed with great suddenness the Government must be trusted lo deal with it. He believed the Provisional Government' was doing its utmost to carry out the agreement for ending th'e, boycott ofj Belfast. The ImperiaJ Government could not intervene at present.
